Lund University and World Maritime University signed a Memorandum of Understanding

On 13 June, the World Maritime University (WMU) and the Faculty of Law at Lund University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and research collaboration in maritime law and policy, safety, oceans affairs, and marine environment protection.

Signed by WMU President, Professor Maximo Q. Mejia, Jr. and Professor Henrik Wenander, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Lund University, the agreement outlines areas of cooperation including teaching, research, and academic information exchange. The partnership seeks to enhance scholarly activities and information sharing on maritime security and related fields.

Witnesses to the signing included WMU Professor Daniel Moon, Vice President, Provost and Dr. Niklas Selberg, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, Lund University.

The MoU reinforces the shared commitment of the partners to advancing maritime governance and legal scholarship on an international scale.
