During the PhD Graduation Ceremony held in December 2023 at the University of Luxembourg, Nicole Citeroni received the Best Thesis Award 2023. During the ceremony, she briefly presented the topic of her PhD research titled “Systemic Economic Offences as a New Paradigm of International Crimes - Towards an Evolution or Revolution of International Criminal Law?”. The Thesis was also awarded a merit-based scholarship for her doctoral research in the fields of Economics and International Development, granted by the Fondation Jacqueline NOEL under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
Nicole Citeroni is employed a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Law.
