The Vice-Chancellor has decided to appoint Katia Cejie as Visiting Professor at 20% for two years, 2026–2027. The appointment is part of Lund University’s special initiative to recruit visiting professors of underrepresented gender, aimed at providing role models for staff and students by participating in the current research environment, teaching at various levels, and contributing to the faculty’s work on gender equality and equal opportunities.

Katia Cejie is currently employed as Professor of Financial Law at Uppsala University. In 2019, she was awarded Uppsala University’s Free Educational Prize on the theme “Educational Efforts for Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities.” Her research focuses on international tax law and EU tax law, primarily addressing issues related to taxation and social security in cross-border situations. Katia Cejie will begin her appointment at the faculty on 1 January 2026.
