Summary, in English

This chapter provides an overview of human rights due diligence (HRDD), followed by a definition of the topic, with a discussion and explanation of the key elements of HRDD and the key differences between business due diligence and HRDD. The chapter then focuses on how to teach HRDD from both a legal perspective and a practice perspective. Different teaching approaches, adaptable to different learning objectives and students’ backgrounds, are discussed, including through an example of a practical innovative exercise.
